On 3 December 2021, a virtual seminar by the German Association for Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics e.V. (BME) will take place. The event is aimed at Thai, Cambodian and Laotian companies that are interested in finding German sourcing companies for future business.

The German Association for Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics e.V. (BME) and the AHKs in Southeast Asia are organizing a Supplier seminar. The core of the event is to inform about the reverse sourcing concept (B2B matchmaking), where German buyers meet selected suppliers from Southeast Asia from Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia and Laos.

The initiative is conducted on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). The BMWi Market Development Program is designed to make it easier for German small and medium-sized enterprises to enter new markets and achieve further success in their export activities. Therefore, the supplier seminar targets potentially capable and qualified Thai, Cambodian and Laotian suppliers (export companies) for prospective buyers.

The seminar will give more insights into the full process of the initiative and how your company can be part of it!

77 German companies have expressed their interest in finding potential suppliers from the following sectors:

• Metal work and parts
• Turning and milling
• Casting
• Filters and coolers
• Surface Treatment
• Plastic work and parts
• Electronics
• Chemicals, textiles, wood and glass

Thai, Cambodian and Laotian manufacturers/suppliers from these sectors are welcome to express their interest to be part of this purchasing initiative to promote their products.

The RFI with your company's information should be sent in its original Excel format to lea.bergmann@myanmar.ahk.de

We recommend that the RFI be filled up as soon as possible. It will be sent to the German companies, and selected Cambodian and Laotian manufacturers/suppliers will be invited for individual online business meetings in March 2022 with the German buyers.
