Kick-off: GMBC Membership for Start ups and Young Entrepreneurs

To facilitate exchange and cooperation, the German Myanmar Business Chamber wants to link with young entrepreneurs and start ups. Young entrepreneurs from Myanmar shall be effectively empowered to grow their business thanks to the support of a mentor from the German business community in Myanmar.

A newly created program shall be to enhance the engagement of GMBC and startups throughout joint activities with a special membership as well as the mentoring program Lan Nyun.

In course of this kick-off event, the GMBC president, members of the German community as well as friends will introduce you to characteristics of German business and present the outline and benefits of the mentoring program Lan Nyun.

The Delegation's core mission is to promote bilateral business relations between Germany and Myanmar. The GMBC would benefit from an influx of new entrepreneurial spirit, the creation of more young enthusiasm and diversity in the membership portfolio.

Phandeeyar is an innovation lab that is spearheading the use of technology to accelerate change and development in Myanmar. Phandeeyar invests in local technology startups, trains new entrepreneurs and builds the pool of tech talent. Phandeeyar also helps civic and social entrepreneurs, CSOs and independent media use technology to increase their impact and runs a co-working space.

The German Embassy will contribute with a platform for broader visibility, and their wider range of communication channels.
