Event Details

You're invited to join us on 28th April (Thursday) for a virtual Business Roundtable on the Visa and Relief Flight Process.

Myanmar's borders have been closed since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020. Issuing of Myanmar eVisas, visas on arrival, and visa exemptions has also been suspended.

After 2 years of a complete border closure, it was announced that the country will reopen to international visitors in April 2022. State Administration Council (SAC)'s Ministry of Immigration and Population also announced on 29th March that "the Online e-Visa system will reopen on 1 April 2022 for business visa applications".

Alex Bohusch and Lukas Baumgaertner from Luther Law Firm will give an update on the current Visa and Relief Flight Process and also point out critical issues for any foreign employee to consider.
